How could I change the incoming and outgoing servers?

I use both my Gmail and Hotmail accounts for e-mails and, by mistake, I
entered Google.com (which I think should have been Gmail.com) for both of the
incoming and outgoing servers. I'm having some problems with logging into the
Windows Mail and I'm not even sure the e-mails I sent were actually sent by
the Windows Mail. I'd really appreciate any comment or advice. Thank you!

P.S. Also, if you have any idea on what the server types are for Gmail and
Hotmail, please leave a comment. I have no idea what difference there is
between the three server types they give you to choose from during setup.

Go to Tools | Accounts

Highlight the account you want to modify.

Go to Properties | Servers

Type in the specific server information given to you by your email provider.
(it's up to you to know this or find this)

Press apply and then OK

Close the window

Thank you, Mr. Urban. Just a little problem with finding the "Accounts" in
the drop down list under the "Tools." Did you mean [Tools] drop-down icon
underneath the IE address bar??

Best,

When you are speaking of email I assume that you are using Windows Mail.
That is where the settings are.

If you are using something else - explain yourself a bit better.
