i installed a icc profile from lacie. Now my text are
corrupt. they look like Greek or Russian style fonts. Any
ideas how to get rid of them>
Tried changing in regional Language in control panel.

I don't know what is this, but you are probably in the wrong NG, this NG is
for XP Embedded.
