***THANX for the quick reply DL. someone on another forum said it probably
wouldn't work either since it would ask for an activation code & i couldn't
just repair the one damaged file. i have RestoreIT software which i've use
before(works great, better than xp restore), so i'll just have to restore
back to the first static point & reload my backup cd's.
