I'm Logged in as administrator on Windows 2000 server
After a user copied and renamed a directory, they were
unable to control the printer correctly. Upon
investigation, I've found I am unable to access two
particular subdirectories (one of them contains the print
control files) under the original directory. Explorer says
unable to access when I click on either one. I can access
other subdirectories under it. I can go to the copied and
renamed directory and access those two particular
subbdirectories just fine. I tried to delete and/or rename
them (the subdirectories on the original) but it won't let
me. I rebooted, ran scandisk, with the same results. I
went ahead and renamed the copy to the
original "motherdirectory" name and renamed the nonworking
copy as "old", to regain the use of the accounting
application. At this point I just want to get rid of the
original "motherdirectory", but it still won't let me
delete it because of the two inaccessible subdirectories.
Any ideas on what I can do?
