Need for speed hot pursuit 2 is the only cd rom that i am
having trouble with. It is so strange. it just started
doing this one day after months of great use."corrupted
files or registry, please re install" is the only message
i can get. I've copied the cd to my hard drive, i've gone
into the files and ran the exe file and many other things.
I've even bought a new cd and it still gAVE me the same
message. The closest I've gotten is to get the picture to
up on the screen, watch it disappear, and then i recieve
the error message that i stated above. I've seen it so
many times i don't even want to repeat it! what could
possibly be wrong with my computer? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Hi John,

Uninstall the game, and then clean your registry using:
http://www.webmasterfree.com/regcleaner.html to remove
any references to N4S. Reboot, and then install it again.

Check for any virus on your system, and give compatibility
a try in case it helps to overcome that incessant error msg.
