Carey
I contacted you last evening about deleting a corrupted file. I could not delete it. I contacted Roger Abell this morning and have tried out two of his suggestions, still nothing. You can check out our banter by looking at the message today named corrupted file-2. If you have any other suggestions, please let us know

Thanks
Saul

Saul;
What is the file you're trying to delete?
Have you run chkdisk?

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Saul;
Never mind. I see it's an .avi file.
I also see you've been to The Elder Geek's and Kelly's.
Sorry, I have no more help, except make sure you run chkdisk and then try
deleting.
I had the same problem with a different file type and I could not delete it
until I ran chkdisk and rebooted

Have you tried to reboot in safe mode with command prompt. I find that that
helps when trying to delete some file that will not be removed otherwise.
