Outlook 2007 is reporting the pst file to be corrupt and will not open. I
have run the scanpst.exe tool which scans this and then says that there are
no errors.

The file is large, over 5Gb, but I did not think that this was a problem
with 2007.

Are there any other products which can do a better job than the standard pst
file repair tool?

Is the size of the file a problem.

Can aonyone suggest any ideas?

I never used this additional programs but maybe you give them a try:

This one supports Outlook 2003, and as the pst files created in Outlook 2003
are by default the same type as that created by Outlook 2007, then it's
worth giving it a go - on a COPY of the pst file....
