Corrupt .PST File - Needed Contents

I recently had a bad stick of memory that corrupted my Outlook 2000
PST file. Every time I import it into a fresh installation, it causes
the program to freeze and disables the ability to edit anything in
Accounts.

I really only need one folder from the file, as I've recovered my
calendar and contacts from a PDA.

Q: Is there any way to extract just a single email folder from the
file and leave all the accounts and configuration data alone? Possibly
a 3rd party utility?

Thanks,

A_C

Have you tried running scanpst.exe against the file to see if it can be
repaired? there is no way to extract a single folder from the pst without
opening the file first.
