I installed Outlook 2007 and configured an exchange account. Well
after it went through testing it said that it couldnt connect. Well I
hit cancel and it closed outlook. When i started outlook back up it
brought up the exchange account info screen and everytime i hit cancel
it exited outlook. well somehow I am now stuck on a message that says
You have a previous version of the microsoft Exchange Messaging
Service. Create a new profile. <OK>
After I hit ok it loads up but it wont let me delete the exchange
profile even after creating a pop3 profile. When i go to delete it
from account settings it says "You cannot delete this Outlook data
file. Configuration information in the file is being copied to your
new default data file. You can delete the file after this information
is copied." both accounts use the same data file. How do i solve this
dilemma without removing my user account and making a new one? Thanks
in advance.

The error gives you the answer; recreate your mail profile. You are chaning
account configuration which isn't the same. For more info on how to recreate
your mail profile see;
