corrupt mouse

When I try to change my mouse pointer I get this error message.
windows\cursors\harrow.cur file which contains the normaal select cursor is
eather missing or corrupt. Is there an easy way to get the files back. Using
windows7

If the error message really mention windows\cursors\harrow.cur (not
c:\windows etc..) could it be just that you are using a relative rather than
an absolute path ??

Are you trying to change the mouse cursor in a program you wrote?

Not in a program I wrote. Just can't change the mouse to anything other than
default settings. Sttings it came with.
