Just about every time I send a photo to
family/friends...when they receive it, it says "corrupt
image", and it's messed up. Sometimes when I receive
photos, I get the same results. Although...it doesn't
always happen. What is causing this? Does anyone know?

Depends on the size of the images, total mail size, and the internet service
carrier you are using. Have you tried copying yourself or you work/home
email address on the mails when you send them - when you get your copy in
the mail, is it corrupt? What if they did the same thing?

I don't recommend sending anything over 2MB in total mail size. Also, some
carries do not offer there clients a variety of services including file
attachments. For instance I send mail to someone whose contract with that
service does not allow them to receive attachments, so the service doesn't
deliver the mail to them, or strips the mail and only sends them the text.
Some firewalls don't allow any attachments with EXE or ZIP as an extension,
and so on.

Also, corruption can also happen en route (back internet connections across
the country from bad routers, power outages, and so on used to be a real
problem.

And are you attaching the files or copying them to the mails? You might want
to try one way if the other isn't working for you at a particular time.

good luck!
