If upgrading the OS is an option, skip XP and go straight to Linux.
I struggled with ME to XP & vice versa for months & got inconsistent

After being targeted with gigabytes of trash by the
"SWEN" worm, I have concluded we must conceal our
e-mail address. Our true address is the mirror image
