hello
just recently when trying to log on to my computer,when i
insert my password at logon ,click ok ,my computer
freezes then a message comes up :..
Windows. corrupt file.
the File or Directory \Windows\Prefetch\Services.EXE-
2F433351.PF is corruptand unreadable. please Run the
CHKDSK Utility.
i do this and still the same result.then i start up in
safemode, go to user accounts ,take off my password to
logon .then my system runs ok .or is it just a
coincidence? sorry if this question is not real clear but
i am a novice at computing .
i am running XP pro pentium 4,1.6gig 512 ram.
any help much appreciated.
