I have Outlook 2003 on a fairly new computer. When I first installed it all
was fine, but for no apparent reason, all email attachments, regardless of
file type, now become corrupted, apparently during download . This includes
Word files (which Word is unable either to open or repair), .pdf files (which
partially open), .jpg files (which are either unviewable or corrupted) and
Excel files (which are usually viewable but always include an error message
to say that they are corrupted).

I've deleted and reinstalled the Outlook 2003 program but that hasn't made
any difference.

Anybody got any ideas?

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook or does POP3
protocol scanning disable this integration and try again.
