I have Outlook 2003 and I think the email that is highlighted in my inbox is
Corrupt. I get an error and say's "Microsoft outlook has encoutered a
problem and must close" I've sent the error to Microsoft, at the same time
it is asking me to restart. When I allow it to I get the same error with the
same email highlighted, this is why I'm saying that this particular email
message in my inbox is corrupt. Is there a stepping process to eliminate
this particular email through a different process? or even empty my inbox?

Start - Run - Outlook.exe /safe
Delete message (you can try to open it first if you want). Since the
preview pane isn't open when you use safe mode, it shouldn't cause the same
problem.
