I have a serious problem. My Windows XP Professional
recently redetected my Teac CDRW drive. It shows in the
device manager two drives - 1)CD-Rom Drive 2)TEAC 524E.
Before this happened I had a drive image set up with
alcohol showing a second drive as a SCSI Image drive.
This has since been removed. Whenever I try to burn I
get a buffer problem and all disks are corrupted. Buffer
problems were never a problem before and never got
corruptions on disks. I use Nero to burn. I tried the
burned in anothe computer with xp and it works fine with
no corruptions. When I try to reinstall the device in my
Windows XP or remove the CD-Rom or Teac 524E from device
manager it crashes my system.
My question is how to remove the drivers or find the
correct ones that are needed for this Drive?
