My I.E.6 browser, which was already downloaded on my computer, is corrupt.
Is there a way I can re-install/download just the browser and Outlook
Express from the WinXP disk, or should I re-install the whole OS.

What problems are you having? A reinstall may not be necessary.

The problem is that I.E. 6 doesn't display correctly, e.g., no grid lines on
sites such as TV Guide, home page, lines of text overlapping, etc. On
Outlook Express no color changes for fonts, background, can be made, or seen
when I receive email. I've tried everything, to no avail.

OK. Just wanted to make sure that you had tried other solutions. The
solution is often something much easier than a reinstall.

But, in your case, I'd reinstall. Follow Warren's links.
