My outlook calendar is apparently full of duplicate UIDs. I think
this mostly happened by creating new entries by copying an exisiting
entry and changing the date. (E.G. If I had a dentist appointment in
the calendar and then scheduled a doctor appointment, I would very
often just copy the dentist appointment within the calendar and change
the details such as date to create the doctor appointment. I thought
this was easier because all the fields - private / show_time_as /
categories would already be set.) Everything seems to work OK, except
synchronization with my Blackberry. Whichever entry in outlook
caledar I modify last among the ones with the same UID is the only one
the Blackberry will list.
So, is there any way to easily fix this to get rid of the duplicate
UIDs? Even if I export everything to .ics or .vcs it will maintain
the UIDs, right? Exporting to .xls doesn't seem to handle recurrence.
