I installed a new DSL modem last night with Bellsouth's install CD.
When I shut down and restarted there was an error message which I
don't remember exactly but it had something to do with windows not
being able to find user properties...it created another Owner account
with the name with Gateway after it. I am OWNER and the new user is
OWNER_Gateway Computer. My information and settings isn't there..When
I look in Windows Explorer, my OWNER account is still there with all
MY documents, etc. I have already done a system restore. How can I
get windows to load my original user account, not the new one it
created??
