Cordless keyboard problem

This is on behalf of a friend ...

He uses a Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse.

When typing, it misses out letters and spaces.

The mouse requires a double click when it has been set for
single click operation.

What's the best approach, please?

The best approach is through Logitech technical support, which can be found
