I want to copyright photos and remove the annoying save bar that appears
everytime I move the mouse over a picture on my website before I publish it
to the web. Does anyone know if this is possible in Frontpage? Also how to
accomplish this task. I can't stand how the images get the yellow save over
button everytime I send it to preview. Thanks for any help or support.

You can read about copyright, and apply for ones here:
http://www.copyright.gov/

Save bar?

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex9/imagebar.htm

I believe the Image Toolbar has been removed in IE7.

If you publish it, you have copyrighted it. You don't need to apply for
anything, no?

Correct, unless you would want to take legal action in attempt to get compensation.

True, but your case would be much stronger if you could prove damages and
actually brought suit.

The proving damages is the hard part. Whether you actually secured a
copyright or just put a notice on the page is nearly irrelevant, I believe.
But - you must do one or the other, I think.

You are supposed to have a copyright notice someplace on the site is about
all.
