It could be the problem of your Windows XP CD or your CD-ROM drive. Depends
which one is in good condition.
If you think that both are OK then try copying your entire cd on some other
pc temporarly. If it is successful the you have to check your CD Drive. Try
cleaning it with a lens cleaner.
