I copied my website onto a cd for safekeeping. when I put
it back on frontpage after having to take computer in and
have new hard drive installed, the background and images
donot transfer even tho i have transferred both of these.

1. In Windows Explorere, make sure you've turned off the
read-only file system bits in the Web you restored
from CD.
2. Recalcualte hyperlinks.
