There already is a Default account, which is a system account. You don't
want to create a mandatory default account because then *all* new
accounts will use that as a template, not just accounts for children.
What you want to do instead is:
1. Delete all the Child* accounts so as to start over. This may not
really be necessary but since I don't know what you did, better safe
than sorry.
2. Create one Child account and set it up exactly as you want it to be
for all the children.
3. Now create new Child user accounts and log into each one once.
4. Log off and log into an account with administrative privileges.
5. Copy your ideal Child account to each one of the new Child accounts
per:

Don't worry about the title - just follow the instructions for copying
the files to the new user accounts.
