Copying Text to PPT

How can I copy text from one PPT slide in one presentation and paste it into
another presentationwith different font sizing and formatting and have that
text split between multiple slides when one slide is filled.

Well, when you paste text into a placeholder on a slide, two icons will
appear. One is for keeping the formatting, the other is for autofit -- it
looks like two arrows pointing to two horizontal lines in the middle. Click
that icon and you'll see the option to "split text between two slides."

Which version of PPT will this work with. I have 2000.

This works with 2003 for sure. Maybe with 2002 (aka PPT XP), but I'm not
positive. It's not a feature in 2000.
