Need to put my back up info (i.e. calendar info, sent/received emails etc.)
back into Outlook. Could someone give me an easy way to do this please?!

Hi maryc,

I hope the steps in Outlook on a "Mac" were the same as on a Windows
computer.

How to reconnect your "old" (or backup) PST file:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...771141033.aspx

Open this PST file and copy the items that you need into the new or default
PST file.

Is the PST file stored on a CD?

If yes, read this article: "Open a PST from a CD"
http://web.uconn.edu/exchange/faq/ar...g/openpst.html

Maybe it helps.

switch to a table view (by category works well) and select all, drag and
drop to the new calendar.

Backing up is saving data *out* of the program's files/database to
somewhere else. What you are asking about is restoring that separately
saved data.

So what happens when you use File -> Open to open a .pst file? If the
..pst file is in a readable format by your old version of Outlook then
its contents will appear as a new tree in the folders list. You could
just open any nodes in that tree and drag them to wherever you want,
like into your local message store's tree.
