Hello,

I work in an IT department and we recently received our first Vista machine
the other day. Part of our setup procedure is to create a baseline user
account on each machine we setup that has the desktop, folder views and
application configurations all set to our standard. Then we copy this profile
to all the other users of that machine. This has not been a problem in W2K
nor XP, just got to "System Properties" -> Advanced -> User Profiles
(Settings) and copy the profiles. However, whenever I do this under Vista and
then have the user attempt to log back in they get the Welcome message and
then immediately you see the Logging off.. message, so they can no longer log
onto the machine! These are the users whose are on the receiving end of the
profile copy.

Has anyone else experienced this problem. Does anyone know if this is a
Vista problem or should this work?

Thank you for your time,
Allen Rongone
