Variables:

Frontpage 2003 and copying links from one page to another in different
directories.

I am creating hundreds of pages with the same format and page names but in
different directories.

I want to copy over links from one page to another but it is bringing all of
the directory information over with it.

For example, I have 1.htm, 2.htm, etc I want to copy over these links to a
page in another directory, but it brings with it the whole address like
football/2005/1.htm instead of just 1.htm. Is there an option that can turn
this off. The system I have for creating pages would work perfectly and
quicker if I could figure this out.

Thanks,
M. Anderson

FP wants to help by mantaniing the linsk to the orignal files when you
move or save to a diffrent drectory. This hapens only when you are
workin within a web.

Here's a workaround.
Save the files you want to "copy" to a folder off the web. Then vevrigy
that the lnks are the way you wan them. Then import the files in that
folder into each folder of the web you want.
