Your post is very confusing. You're trying to copy onto copy? From where to
where? Is this an MP3 player? You state you have successfully copied 175
tracks from where to MP3? Please restate your post so some of us "novices"
may give some sort of assistance.

OK sorry! I have copied 175 music tracks already from Media Player onto MP3.
Sucessfully.
Now I want to add some more and that message comes up 'Cannot Copy! The
directory or file cannot be created' There is plenty of room left on MP3.

Use Windows Explorer, there you can copy&paste or drag&drop music files
to the MP3 player. Your way is to use Media Player but Sync files to the
MP3 player. Try transferring only music files to the MP3 Player, NOT
directories,
or playlists. Let us know how you come out. Good Luck :~)

Hi thanks for reply. I have been doing exactly that drag + drop and worked
fine up till now! Tried everyway and message still says can't copy
directory/file can't be created. The files (WMA) play fine thru the PC and
the MP3 works fine.

Your terminology may be misleading to some. MP3 and WMA are file types. You
do not copy to an MP3 but to an MP3 player. Some MP3 players can play both
MP3s and WMAs and some only MP3s. Are you putting WMA files on the MP3
player or MP3 on the MP3 player? Can your player play WMAs?

Delete all the files on the MP3 player and reload all of them at one time.
