Copying Music CD to HDD takes 3 hours!

Help - it takes hours to copy a music CD to HDD. Am using MS Media Player,
plenty of space on disc. Wasnt a problem before, possibly some thing to do
with SP2?

Start > Run > type msconfg > enter > start up and see what yopu've got
running in the back ground.

Try using AudioGrabber (its free) to "grab" your CD tracks :

Thx - will do all these suggestions (Comment - the first 2 links are mostly
Windows 9X versus XP)

You can still apply them to lighten up XP !
