Copying an Inbox folder to a CD

I have a mass amount of email with attachments that must be extracted from
Outlook 2003 and then converted to PDFs. How do I copy a particular Inbox
folder in Outlook out to a CD for later manipulation, but retain the header
and all information? I could open each individual email in Outlook and
convert to a PDf inside Outlook but that seems cumbersome and time consuming.

n Outlook go to File-New-Outlook Data File. Copy the folder you want to use
to that file. Close the new Data file. Copy that to a CD.

Then close Outlook

The problem still remaining to the OP, however, is how to convert the mail
to PDFs afterward. I don't know of any tools besides Outlook itself, that
will allow that to be done.

The answer could be to import into Thunderbird (for example) which uses MBox
mailbox format - just a big text file - open the MBox in a word-processing
application that has print to pdf function.
