Backup the data to offline storage like a tape drive, then restore the data to the RAID
array.

| Hi !
| I have my system installed on a HDD (lets say C ) and now i want to
| install it on two hard drives configured in RAID 0.(one of them will
| be the old C)
|
| What i wanted to do was to copy C on a third HDD (let's say D) ,
| Install the 2 HDD for RAID 0, Then boot on D, format C ,make an array
| RAID 0 with my two HDD, (including the old C and a brand new HDD)
| and again , copy D on the new disk RAID 0 made from the mix of the old
| C and the newest HDD
|
| Am i OK with this ?
| How can i make a bootable copy of C ?
|
| My conf : Pentium 4 2.8Ghz ,P4C800 E, 2X512 DDR,Windows 2000 pro
|
| -C: WD 36 Go S-ATA
| -new HDD : The same
| D:- WD 250 Go S-ATA
