You can install the drive as a slave on the other system and
copy files. You'll probably need to "take ownership" of the
files and folder on the drive to do so.

| My windows XP system crashed and burned. I've checked out
all my hardware
| and found no faults. I've got XP on another computer that
was connected to
| the first via a network system. I can not get windows to
boot up on my first
| system. What I would like to know is how to salvage some
of the programs and
| information from my first system before I reformat it.
I've decided, after
| trying everything else, that formatting the drive and
starting fresh is the
| only way to fix the problems I'm having. I need to know if
it's possible to
| transfer information from the drive I can't boot up to my
operating system?
| If so how?
