Every night the backups from about 40 databases are copied
over to another server. Both are Win2K servers. Once in a
while one or two files out of 40 fails to copy with the
error The specified network name is no longer available.
If I manually copy it using explorer also sometimes it
fails with the same message and if I try to copy it again
it succeeds. I have come across other threads on this
error message but see no clear explanation as to why this
happens or any solution to solve this. I see some KB
article connected with XP but our servers are Win2k.
Anyone has any clue as to why this happens and how to fix
this?

Thanks,
Vasu
