Copying files from PC To MP3 player

Having trouble trying to copy music files (WMA) onto MP3 player. Can't
sychronize or drag & drop. Message comes up Cannot copy. The files or
directory cannot be created. PLease can anyong help. Am Using Media Player
10. Have tried 9 as well!
Thanks would be truly grateful. PS previously managed to copy 175 files and
still have 333mb left on mp3 player - no not a memory issue!

You have to reincode the WMA to Mp3. Use CDex to do that.

OK I've fixed it but through reformatting MP3!
Right click on MP3>format>quick format
DONT FORGET TO BACK UP ANY EXISTING FILES ALREADY ON MP3.
have filled 1gb of memory!! Hooray!

hope you can help me, I have just got a Sony MP3 player and am trying to
download onto it, i have never done this before and i think i have plugged it
in right. My player just says pc connect and ive tried everything to
download, swap copy my music file onto it. im doing this through my music
(is this right) i have media player 10 and 9, if you could assist i would be
grateful. Ps i didn't understand a word of what you wrote to bobbie Many
