Copying Executable Files

I am very impressed with our new xpe image. But we have found one
weird little bug?

When we copying files over our network from an xp machine to an xpe
machine all goes well, until we try to overwrite an executable file.
When we try to copy the exe both systems hang.

We are using static local ip addresses and non-exe files transfer just
fine.

Anyone ran into this before?
