Hello,

I 've just invested in a new laptop running Vista home premium. My old PC
has Windows XP. I am in the process of re-installing software & copying
datafiles across, no problems so far.

I've not yet connected the new laptop to the internet. I know how to do this
(I think), but how do I copy my 'favourites', address book, saved emails etc
across ?.

What files & folders do I need to find & copy, & where do I copy them to ?

Thanks

KK

I'm not going through the whole process here, but the key is to look for
"export" options on your old computer. Lets you export IE favorites, email
contacts, etc.
Then on your new computer, you want to import them from whatever export file
your old computer created.
