Hello,
I'm getting a new computer and I'm wondering if there is a program
that will copy files directly to the new computer without having to
use CDs. I realize that I'll need some sort of cable to connect the
computers.
It would be easier to hook up your old drive as a slave to the new
computer and copy over the files you want.
Agreed. Unless...will both puters be on a lan? Can use a backup or synch proggy for that.

Hello,
Thanks all for the suggestions. Yes, the two computers will be on a Home lan, but I'm not sure how to
move files from one machine to another unless I email them, or use a cable from machine to machine.
I've never done this before so, for me, I'm in uncharted waters.
