Copying contacts

      12th Feb 2008
Using Outlook 2007, is there an easy way to copy a contact to easily create
another almost the same contact as ther original. This is where we have
maybe 10 different contact names for the same company.

Sure. Display your contacts in, say, the Address Card view. Right-click
and drag the contact a little way and release the mouse button. Choose
Copy.

Select a contact and click Actions>New Contact From Same Company.

Brian, it works for Contacts in Outlook but not in my case because I am
using Business Contact Manager - it says "Cannot copy the items. The
folders you are trying to change do not support this operation. Could not
complete the operation because the service provider does not support it"

Any ideas.

Next time, tell the whole story. BCM questions belong in
microsoft.public.outlook.bcm
