How do I copy only certain emails to a CD. I need to give the next Parent
Council President all the emails from last year. Please give me step by step
instructions on how to do this. Thank you so much for your help.

What version of Outlook will this person use? What version do you use? Do
they need to be in email format or just a readable archive?

For an archive readable on any computer regardless of the email client, see
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/housekeeping.asp for utilities that can
export into HTML, RTF or other formats.

I don't know what version they would use, either Express, Outlook 2003 or
2007. I just need to hand over all the emails without printing them, to the
new School Council President. Even if they were put on a CD and she could
read them off of the CD if she needed to. Thanks

In that case, I would use a tool to export it in a generic format. If you
happen to have Adobe Acrobat, you can make a PDF package, otherwise tools at
the link I provided will export them to HTML or RTF format. You can also
use File, Save as - but it’s a slow process for more than a few emails since
you need to do it one message at a time.

Oh, you could also use a PDF printer (there are several free ones, including
CutePDF) - select all, then print. Acrobat's package is better since it
indexes each message - but its much more expensive.
