Every time I try to copy a file to my D-drive,
I get a message that says;
"Windows encountered a problem while trying to copy your file. What would
you like windows to do?"
I made sure the files were not "read only."
I've derfaged, and cleaned up the hard drive.
It just will not let me copy anything to a CD-RW disc.
Any ideas... thanx

Can you copy data on to a CD-R disc? Do you have a CD-RW compatible drive?

Did it ever work? Can you write to a CD-R? XP can't copy to a CD-RW like a
big floppy without 3rd party software.
