Hello
Whats the best freeware to convert a 713MB .avi to vcd so I can play on TV.
I have Nero 2.1.0.5 but complains about size.

Set Nero to overburn

i suppose you ar using 700MB cd's, but they can in most case be overburned a
little.

Try The Film Machine. It can do DVD's from AVI files (and I suppose
that it can do the same on VCD's).

For other options, try doom9.org or videohelp.com sites.

What's the duration of the video? 650 MB will hold 74 minutes, 700 MB 80 in
VCD MPEG-1
