I have captured video from my camcorder using MM2. The files are stored on my hard drive in .WMV format. I would now like to copy these files directly to my DVD+RW drive. Everything I have tried has failed.

wow bobr...

asking 14 times, you must really want to do this...

Are you trying to make a DVD, or just back it up? Perhaps you could tell us
more. But...maybe just post it once ;-)

Sorry it was posted so much - Every time I tried to post I kept getting an error screen back saying it failed - so I just kept trying

What I am trying to do is copy the .WMV files as a backup to my DVD+RW drive so I can free up the disk space on my hard drive.

You cannot use the built in CD recording software in Windows XP to do this
as it will not burn to a DVD. You can use Classic Creator in Roxio software
or Nero (whatever their burning application may be called, sorry I only use
Roxio).

So why dont you try something else! May be if you try another thing it wont
fail. Even if that thing fails I am sure there is something else which will
work for you. So good luck!!!

The point is that if you want us to help you then please at least put some
effort in describing your problem with details of solutions you have tried
so that we can tell you what you might have missed.
