Help Please. I have a web-site that I created using FP 2000, on another
computer. I now have a new computer with FP 2003, and need to copy my
web-site from the web to my new computer, so I can start working on it again.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you go to the folder where you saved the website on your hard drive, could
be called "My Webs" in "My Documents". Save that file to a Pen Drive/CD/ZIP
etc...then just drag it into "My Documents" in your new computer.
Open FrontPage and locate the Web, then FrontPage should automatically
upgrade the files to the new version and you're ready to go.

Do you have FPSE (frontpage server extensions ) installed on the server? if
so open the site live..

Make sure you have FrontPage extensions enabled at on your host.
Open up FrontPage close down any webs you have open

To Open the site live

File | Open | on the pop up box click 'My Network Places' on the left hand
menu
(or it might be Web Folders- depending)

Insert the url of the site you wish to open
e.g.: http://accessfp.net/

Click ok

A box will appear asking for your username and password insert these press
ok

In FrontPage, click on the navigation view so you know when the site will
appear.

The site will load once it is fully loaded you may publish to your hard
drive.

File | Publish | insert the location on your harddrive you wish to publish
to or make an empty web beforehand in preparation and insert that location

When the site has finished publishing close the live site and open the one
on your hard drive for editing.
