AD won't let me copy user accounts anymore, now i get the message:

Windows cannot create the object because: The name reference is invalid.

I'm trying to copy a user, as I've done in the past to create another new
user that has identical settings.

any ideas anyone?

Note: Crossposting to
microsoft.public.win2000.active_directory (crossposting is
using commas "," between group names ... not semicolons ";")

Is this happening with all users or just specific user
accounts?
Are there other entries being logged in your event log?
