Copy select information from a workbook to a template

Ok,

Here's my problem. I have hundreds of workbooks all being controled by
visual basic. I need to change the update the coding. I have a template
that has the new coding and it needs to copy select information from one
worksheet into the template. Run the new code to update it self then save
the overwrite the original file it pulled the information from. Any ideas to
make this run a little more automatic would be greatly appreciated.
