My copy and paste function seems to work OK with MS programs but it is
very patchy with other programs. Am I in the right place for an
answer?

Thanks for reply Peter.

It is not working on the 'Moonfruit Site Builder' They have checked my
site at their end and it works for them. It doesnt work with Paint.net
either.

I am trying to paste in blocks of text. The Support team at Moonfruit
have no problem with copy/paste on my site but I do.

Have you tried keyboard shortcuts?
(in windows: select then CTRL + C to copy, CTRL + V to paste)

YOu should be able to narrow it down. Are you not able to copy or not
able to paste?

For testing, use a program where both work.

When you try to copy, are you able to highlight, to select text for
copying?

If you are having trouble selecting, highlighting -- some webpages
don't permit it -- try Cntl-A, and see if anything gets highlighted
(although it may not be on the part of the page that shows.) Do
cntl-A, cntl-c and try to paste that somewhere that pasting works, and
see if anything appears when you cntl-V.

In your moonlight example, are you talking about a webpage or
something else?

Thanks.That works OK. Saved me hours of typing. Cant see why that
works and menu way doesnt work. One of the mysteries of life?
