Copy Paste Excel Text Data to Powerpoint Table Automatically Forma

Hi, I am looking for any (all) tips or advice on coping and pasting data from
an Excel spreadsheet into a PowerPoint table. I have template tables that
have a specific size and when I paste from Excel PowerPoint automatically
changes the table size.

Please help as this is very frustrating!
