I am looking at the Design view of an Access table, which appears to be
converting my 2009 dates into 2008 dates. I copy/paste 3/1/2009 into the
table and it gets converted to 3/1/2008.

The Data Type is Date/Time and the Format is 'General Date'.
What could be causing this?

Thanks,
Ryan---

It may be a system issue. This data comes from Excel before I copy/paste to
Access. One column adjacent to my dates column has some slightly different
formatting applied (in Excel). When I fiddle with the formatting in Excel,
it copies/pastes fine in Access. I always though formatting is just applied
to a 'top layer' of the data, or whatever it is called. I thought the
underlying data should be the same, no matter what formatting is applied, but
in this instance, changing the formatting seems to actually change the data!
Something must be screwed up with one of the systems in the office here.
Just one more problem to deal with...
