Copy Outlook NOTES to another computer

I would like to copy just my Outlook NOTES to another computer... don't need
the entire .PST file that contains emails... I am really looking to copy over
just the NOTES.

Is there a way to do that? I don't see a "notes.xxx" type file anywhere. It
appears to me that the notes data is instrinsically wrapped in the .pst file.

I suppose I could create an OST file and blow away all the content I _don't_
need and import the OST or a copy of a PST file, but this seems more complex
than necessary.

Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!

Don

You can export just your Notes to its own PST. In the Outlook folder view,
highlight Notes. Click on File > Import and Export. Follow the instructions
and simply export the Notes to a PST file and name it something like
Notes.pst. Then transfer it over to the other computer and use Outlook to
open it. Click on File > Open.

What method are you going to use to transfer the file over to the other
computer? If you're using a CD, make sure you save the PST file to your hard
drive on the other computer and remove the read only attribute before trying
to open it.

Since yes, the notes are in the PST along with everything else, you simply
create a new pst, drag the notes to that, and only take that PST with you.

Or you simply take the whole PST and ignore everything but the notes when
you open it up to copy it to your new PST on the other box.

<duh!!>

Well, THAT was way too simple and too logical for me to have figured out on
my own!

Thanks, all..just what I needed and worked perfectly.
